Design consistency is key to creating visual content that your viewers could easily digest. But the truth is, it can be rather time-consuming to manually format every object in your project to have the same size, color, shape, font type, etc. That's why we've introduced a neat feature that allows you to copy the visual appearance of an object and apply it to other objects on your page.
You can copy and paste the style of all objects on your canvas: charts, maps, text boxes, images, icons, and shapes.
To do this, you have to follow two simple steps:
❶ Right-click on the object, the style of which you wish to copy, and click Copy style.
❷ Right-click on the object, on which you want to paste the style, and click Paste style.
This can also be done with keyboard shortcuts. Use ⌘ + Shift + C for copying and ⌘ + Shift + V for pasting if working on a Mac or Ctrl + Shift + C and Ctrl + Shift + V if working with Windows.
The option works only between similar objects, therefore, you will not be able to copy the style of a text object and paste it on a chart, and style can be copy-pasted to single objects only. This feature copies settings such as colors, size, range, mask, etc.
