Changing the background of your project in Infogram is as easy as 1, 2, 3. To get started, there are three different background options to choose from (click one of the options to be directed to the specific steps):
To give the background a solid color:
❶ From the project editor, click the Settings tab in the sidebar on the right.
❷ Click the colored square under Project background and choose a color from the available color set. You can also enter a specific hex color code or use the color picker.
To add an image to the background:
❶ Click out of any selected objects.
❷ Click Add background image in the Settings panel on the right. Choose an image from the media library or upload your own one (up to 10 MB in size).
❸ You can adjust the image transparency and blur by using the sliders in the settings panel, or change the image by clicking on Change image.
There's also an option to add filters to your background image. To do so, click on the Filter & adjust button in the Settings panel. Then select the filter you wish to use and adjust it to your liking under the Adjust tab.
❹ To remove the background image simply click the X button next to Change image.
You can also upload an image via the graphics gallery if you want to place the image in a particular location on the canvas.
❶ Click on Add Graphics on the left side panel.
❷ Search a keyword or upload an image from your computer (up to 10MB).
❸ Add the image to the canvas and resize it by dragging the image corners.
❹ Right-click the image and choose the option to Move to back.
You can click the image thumbnail in the right side settings panel to switch to a different image.
To add a shape background to charts, maps, and other elements:
❶ Click the Add shape button in the left sidebar, choose a shape, and drag and drop it inside the editor.
❷ Click and drag a corner to resize.
❸ Right-click the shape and choose the option Move to back to move the shape to the background layer.
