When you pick a template project type, you can choose the project canvas dimensions and orientation; infographics and reports are vertical, dashboards - horizontal. Note that even if the template defaults to a certain canvas dimension, you can resize it anytime.
Just remember: elements on the canvas will not adjust their placement automatically. You will have to reorder (select, drag and drop) them manually to suit the new dimensions.
There are two ways to resize your project.
❶ Deselect any objects (if you have selected any).
❷ Click on the Settings tab in the right sidebar. In the Project size section, you will see a drop-down menu that allows you to select a different format or to specify the canvas dimensions (height and width) in pixels.
❶ Hover over the right, left, or bottom edges of your project canvas with your mouse.
❷ Simply drag the edge to resize your project.
Note: If you started your project by clicking the single Chart or Map button in your Library, here is how you resize the canvas:
❶ Deselect any objects.
❷ In the settings panel on the right side of the canvas, use the slider to control the overall project width. The maximum width in Chart and Map projects is 1024 px.
The height of your project depends on how many charts and other objects you have added to your project. Click on each individual object to adjust the chart height in the settings panel.
